Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Alfa 2.0, including the web app, mobile-friendly experience, AI employees, generated media tools, Raj coaching calls, analytics, favorites, support and any related services at startalfa.com.

1. Acceptance

By using Alfa, creating an account, starting an AI task, joining a coaching call or using any paid feature, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using Alfa for a company, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms for that company.

2. What Alfa Does

Alfa provides AI employees and tools for business work, including recruiting, writing, design, project management, coaching, video, voice, music, slide decks, legal review assistance, analytics and saved work. Alfa can generate text, images, decks, audio, music, video, project boards and other outputs from prompts and context you provide.

3. Accounts And Access

• You may need to sign in to use private areas such as analytics, favorites, team or organization features and paid-plan features.
• You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate account and billing information when asked.
• You must be old enough to use online services in your country and at least 13 years old.

4. Your Content

"Your Content" means prompts, messages, uploaded or pasted material, files, URLs, notes, tasks, calls, recordings, third-party data, generated outputs and other information you provide or create in Alfa.

You keep your rights in Your Content. You give Alfa and its service providers permission to host, transmit, process, display, store, copy and otherwise use Your Content only as needed to provide, protect, troubleshoot and improve the service, comply with law and enforce these terms.

5. Generated Outputs

Subject to these terms and third-party provider rules, you may use generated outputs for your business. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on or publishing them. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, similar to output generated for others, or unsuitable for your intended use.

Alfa may generate images, decks, voice, music and video. You are responsible for making sure you have the rights and permissions needed for any names, brands, likenesses, source material, prompts, references, uploads and final uses.

6. No Professional Advice

Alfa may help with legal, finance, hiring, fundraising, sales, strategy, technical and operational topics. The output is not legal, financial, medical, tax, HR, investment or other regulated professional advice. You should consult a qualified professional before making decisions where accuracy, rights, compliance, safety or money matter.

7. Video Calls And Recordings

Raj coaching calls may use Tavus and Daily. If you start a call, you are responsible for making sure everyone on the call knows it is AI-powered and agrees to any recording. Do not use Alfa to impersonate someone, mislead people, record without consent or create deceptive audio/video.

Call history may include conversation IDs and recordings so you can replay calls. Recording availability depends on provider processing and may not always be available.

8. Third-Party Services And Keys

Alfa uses and connects to third-party services, including AI providers, hosting, authentication, database, support, payment, referral, video-call and public-data providers. Their terms and privacy policies also apply to your use of those features.

If you add API keys or tokens for services such as Trello, Anthropic, Gemini or Stripe, you confirm you are allowed to use them with Alfa. Use restricted or read-only keys where possible. You are responsible for any third-party charges, limits or account consequences caused by your use of connected services.

9. Acceptable Use

You must not use Alfa to:

• Break the law, violate rights, defraud, harass, threaten or harm anyone.
• Upload data you do not have the right to use or share.
• Create deceptive deepfakes, non-consensual sexual content, impersonation, malware, spam, phishing or surveillance.
• Seek or reveal secrets, API keys, hidden prompts, credentials or security-sensitive information.
• Bypass rate limits, access controls, safety systems, security headers, authentication or provider rules.
• Reverse engineer, overload, scrape, resell, frame or interfere with Alfa except as allowed by law.

10. Plans, Billing And Cancellation

Where a paid plan is offered, prices, billing periods, trials, discounts and cancellation options will be shown in the checkout, plan screen or related flow. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Taxes may apply.

Cancellation takes effect according to the plan terms shown at the time. Some flows in the app may be informational or pending final payment-provider wiring; a cancellation or plan change is only complete when confirmed by the payment provider, app confirmation or Support.

11. Availability, Changes And Rate Limits

Alfa changes quickly. We may add, remove, limit, pause or modify features, models, employees, integrations, routes, outputs, plans and usage limits. We may apply rate limits, security checks and kill switches to protect the service and manage provider costs. Some features may fail or be unavailable because a third-party provider is down, rate-limited or changed.

12. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how Alfa handles browser storage, account data, AI prompts, generated media, support messages, video calls, recordings, analytics, favorites and connected services.

13. Suspension And Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, create risk for Alfa or others, fail to pay where payment is due, abuse provider resources or use the service unlawfully. You may stop using Alfa at any time. Some browser-local data remains on your device until you delete it.

14. Disclaimers

Alfa is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate or suitable for every use. We do not guarantee that AI outputs will be unique, correct, lawful, non-infringing or accepted by any platform, employer, investor, regulator or customer.

15. Limitation Of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Alfa will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost goodwill, business interruption, provider failures or decisions made using AI output. Our total liability for claims relating to Alfa is limited to the greater of the amount you paid Alfa in the three months before the claim or GBP 100.

16. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify Alfa against claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses arising from Your Content, your use of generated outputs, your connected services, your breach of these terms or your violation of law or third-party rights.

17. Governing Law

Unless local consumer law requires otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.
